Primary Principal Position 2021


Bunbury Baptist College is an expanding co-educational Christian day school established in the growing southern suburb of Dalyellup, Western Australia.


It is an open enrolment College with a focus on providing low cost independent education within a Christian context to the local community.


The College occupies outstanding facilities and is home to a specialist Early Learning Centre catering for infants through to school-aged children along with Before and After School Care.


The College has grown to a level where the operational management will be split into a Primary School and a Secondary School. As such the Board of the College would like to advertise for the following position:




The Board of the College is seeking a highly skilled, experienced and motivated education leader to become the Primary School Principal.


The successful applicant will need to be an enthusiastic and dedicated Christian educator with the desire to educate students within a low fee paying Christian context.  They should also strive for academic excellence, willing to support and uphold the school’s ethos whilst leading in a team environment.

Staff Selection

The selection of staff at Bunbury Baptist College is of prime importance due to the particular nature of the College. Bunbury Baptist College is a Christian school and part of the network of Baptist Schools and Colleges.

Staff selected for employment at the College must meet the following criteria:

·         Be suitably qualified

·         A member of the Teacher's Registration Board to fill a teaching position

·         Display excellence in their teaching/profession

·         Have police clearance and Working With Children Check

·         Have suitable referees, both personal and professional

·         Be a church attending, practicing Christian who can both articulate their faith and Biblical principles

The process for selection is as follows:

  1. Complete the Staff Application Form
  2. Attach a cover letter
  3. Attach a detailed Resume/CV, with the names and contact details of two referees, a written reference from your Minister of Religion, and a copy of your Working with Children Check and a copy of your Teacher's Registration information.
  4. The Principal will contact you by telephone to arrange an interview.
